On May 24th 2010 the Qantas Socceroos play New Zealand at the MCG. This will be the Qantas Socceroos official, and only “farewell” match before setting off to South Africa, and one of the most vital warm up games before the 2010 FIFA World CupTM.
For the Qantas Socceroos, every game in the lead up to the 2010 FIFA World Cup is a key opportunity to build tactics and improve match fitness for what will no doubt be one of the toughest opening three games of the competition against Germany, Ghana and Serbia. New Zealand have also qualified for the World Cup so they certainly won’t be pulling any punches on the day.
