Volunteer Recognition Program (VRP)
Welcome to the new Volunteer Recognition Program website.
The VRP aims to recognise the invaluable work volunteers do for football clubs in Victoria. The first step is to register all your clubs volunteers on our Volunteer Register. Volunteers will awarded Certificates of Recognition for their efforts at their local football club.
Volunteers are the key to the success of football clubs. They dedicate hours of time and energy week in week out, year after year, working in a variety of areas of club administration. Without the dedication of volunteers, football clubs as we know them simply would not exist.
With this in mind it’s vital that these volunteers are acknowledged. By celebrating our club volunteers we can work to retain them which in turn:
- Improves the quality of service to participants of football clubs
- Creates a better environment for all players, parents and volunteers at your football club
- Retains essential knowledge in the football community
- Gives volunteers a much needed pat on the back
Football Federation Victoria (FFV) in conjunction with Football Federation Australia (FFA) and the Victorian State Government has created a Volunteer Recognition Program (VRP). The VRP aims to strengthen links between clubs and FFA and FFV. To do this we have created a Volunteer Register that we want all clubs and volunteers to be part of.
We are asking clubs to register all their volunteers onto the FREE Volunteer Register.
Joining the VRP program delivers multiple benefits and rewards for clubs and their volunteers. Benefits of being part of the free Volunteer Register include:
